Violence starts in the heart long before the trigger is pulled.
There are many factors to violence so don’t be fooled.
There are many of us that grow up in poverty..
Somehow we get convinced that our neighbors are the enemy..
Coveting what your neighbor has gives life to greed.
The evil starts to grow spreading its murderous seeds.
It creeps into the crib of a child that suffers from neglect.
Distorting their vision and choking respect.
Making them believe in violence, envy and strife.
Love exits hate enters they don’t care about life.
All they want to know is where to get a gun.
So that they can escape their conditions and have a little fun.
Maybe grab some heat from a gun shop over the state line.
All they want is the money, they don’t care about nobody dying.
Shop don’t care about my upbringing or that nobody cared.
All they want is that money so I can start there.
This is how it all starts many factors and figures.
Now ask yourself who did it, who really pulls the trigger?
