The U Can Turn it Around Initiative will create awareness through the following methods:

Video Blogs– Supporters will be encouraged to join the

Facebook U Can Turn It Around group  and create

a 3-5 minute video addressing youth violence in their community and offer solutions on how to combat it.

Photography & visual artists-Supporters will be encouraged to take pictures and create drawings that illustrate how violence has ravaged their communities and alternative activities that could turn the initiators of violence around.

Informal sessions & round table discussions-community partners

will offer sessions to the public on ways to combat the epidemic of violent acts that are being committed against today’s youth.

Music & Poetry– local musicians and spoken word artists will create works

of art that will address violence and its effect on society.
